SATURN Overhead Equipment completes a BIG project for Advanced Crane Technologies (PA) to build a 10-Ton Crane ultimately installed at Gavins Point Dam (SD) for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. SATURN designed and manufactured the complete Monorail Crane less lifting beam used to raise and to lower steel stop logs within the dam. This SATURN crane, which travels along a 700 ft long monorail underneath the bridge roadway, consisted of a Twin Hook HOIST with 22ft Hook Centers pulled by a TRACTOR drive.
